Job summary

Mobility seeks a Director of Application Support and Site Reliability Engineering to lead a global team of 12 engineers overseeing 50+ critical applications and middleware. You will drive uptime targets of 99.9–99.95% and champion modernization through automation, observability, and streamlined platforms.

You will manage budgets, vendor relationships, and strategic roadmaps while building a culture of ownership and growth.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading enterprise application support and middleware operations.
• Proven track record managing global teams and budgets.
• Strong incident, problem, change, release, and service management practices.
• Experience managing third-party vendors within formal service frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and executive reporting skills.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• ITIL certification or equivalent practical service management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of 12 engineers responsible for the operational health of 50+ business-critical applications, middleware platforms, and third-party products.
• Own uptime, performance, and resilience targets of 99.9-99.95%, and drive root cause resolution when targets are missed.
• Build scalable support models, escalation paths, and runbooks that scale with the portfolio.
• Lead major incident response and convert recurring issues into permanent fixes.
• Ensure new systems and releases are production-ready before they land in support.
• Middleware and integration engineering to keep environments secure and performant.
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, network, and security teams to design for resilience.
