Job summary

Booking Holdings is seeking a Direct Tax Manager, B2B to shape and lead global Direct tax advisory for its fast-growing B2B unit. You’ll work with Product, Commercial, Legal and Finance to design tax solutions, manage projects end-to-end, and drive scalable, compliant outcomes.

You will build relationships with external advisors, mentor junior staff, and contribute to long-term tax strategy while balancing business objectives in a hybrid two-days-in-office role in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tax Economics/Law, Accounting, Finance or related field; graduate taxation degree is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of indirect tax experience in Big 4/top law firm/major corporation; in-house a plus.
• Strong English communications skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Assess Direct tax position and interpret business models.
• Analyze Direct tax implications for programs, products, partnerships; identify risks and opportunities.
• Research global Direct tax developments and plan changes to ensure compliance.
• Manage Direct tax projects and implementation plans for new launches.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax compliance and scalable solutions.
• Coordinate with external advisors for Direct tax issues and reporting.
• Promote Direct tax awareness within the B2B group and contribute to long-term tax strategy.
