Job summary

Booking Holdings in the United States is seeking a Direct Tax Manager for B2B to lead global tax advisory, owning end-to-end projects from scoping to execution. You will coordinate with Product, Commercial, Legal, Finance, and IT to build scalable tax solutions across regions.

The role requires 8+ years in direct tax, strong global expertise, and PM capabilities. It offers a hybrid work model with two in-office days in New York City or Norwalk, CT, plus a competitive base salary, annual bonus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Tax Economics/Law, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 8 years direct tax experience in a Big 4, top law firm, or major corporation.
• Strong technical knowledge of Direct taxes in a global environment.
• Detail-oriented and capable of leading medium/high complexity projects.
• Project management expertise and organizational skills.
• Strong English verbal and written communications.
• Experience with direct tax setup in ERP systems.
• E-commerce or travel industry experience is a plus.
• Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assess our Direct tax position and interpret our business models.
• Analyze Direct tax implications and define requirements for programs, products and partnerships; identify risks and opportunities.
• Research global Direct tax developments and ensure compliance with new rules and regulations.
• Manage Direct tax projects and implement tax-compliant launches across countries.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to balance tax requirements with business goals.
• Collaborate with external advisors and support timely Direct tax reporting and payments.
• Promote Direct tax awareness within the B2B group.
• Contribute to the long-term vision of the tax team.
