Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a highly experienced Dangerous Goods Lead to own DG policies across air, ocean, and ground transport. The role collaborates with regulators, carriers, and internal teams to ensure safe, compliant, and scalable shipments that support rapid growth.

The candidate will bring deep regulatory knowledge (IATA, 49 CFR, IMDG) and a track record of audits, risk reduction, and cross-functional leadership in fast-paced logistics or aerospace settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in compliance, audit, or risk management.
• 5+ years managing air, ground, and ocean dangerous goods shipments.
• 3+ years with US and international DG regulations and import/export compliance.
• Current certifications: DOT, IATA, and IMDG.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve DG policies, procedures, and controls for air, ocean, and ground transportation.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on IATA, 49 CFR, IMDG, and related U.S. and international DG regulations.
• Conduct internal audits of processes and documentation to ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Drive scalable solutions and metric-based continuous improvement that reduce risk and support business growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, industry associations, and key partners.
• Partner with senior leadership across organizations to align policy, risk posture, and operational controls.
• Support new business opportunities and transportation models with clear regulatory guidance.
