Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Logistics Lead for Dangerous Goods to own DG policies and compliance across air, ocean, and ground networks. You will partner with regulators, carriers, and internal teams to drive safety and regulatory excellence in support of growth.

The role requires 5+ years in DG compliance, along with current DOT, IATA, IMDG certifications. On-site in Bastrop, TX or Redmond/Woodinville, WA, or Hawthorne, CA with 20-25% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in compliance, audit, or risk management.
• 3+ years managing dangerous goods shipments (air, ground, ocean).
• Current certifications: DOT, IATA, IMDG.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve DG policies, procedures, and controls for air, ocean, and ground transportation.
• Serve as SME on IATA, 49 CFR, IMDG and related DG regulations.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive scalable, metric-based improvements to reduce risk.
• Build relationships with regulators and partners.
• Coordinate with senior leadership to align policy and controls.
• Support new transportation models with regulatory guidance.
