Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Device Technology Deployment Manager with a strong focus on automated device assembly and packaging technologies. This role leads deployment across a global network, translating product and process requirements into scalable and compliant manufacturing solutions.

You will work at the intersection of device technology, process engineering, automation, quality, and manufacturing, driving strategic initiatives to improve robustness and efficiency across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in regulated medical device or pharma manufacturing environments is implied by seniority
• Experience with automated device assembly equipment and automated packaging
• Knowledge of cGMP, ISO 13485 and FDA requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of automated device assembly and packaging technologies from concept through production implementation
• Translate product and process requirements into robust equipment concepts and scalable manufacturing solutions
• Provide technical leadership for development and deployment of automated and high-speed assembly platforms
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams for design reviews, FAT/SAT, qualification, and process validation
• Support global manufacturing technology standards and platform solutions for device assembly and packaging
