Job summary

Genentech Hillsboro is seeking a senior leader to drive the Hillsboro Expansion Project, coordinating assembly, packaging, and visual inspection startup for a major site upgrade. You will align site operations with network plans and collaborate with global leaders to ensure timely delivery of new assets and products.

The role requires strong cross-functional leadership, strategic thinking, and extensive experience in pharma manufacturing with emphasis on device assembly and packaging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science required; graduate degree preferred.
• SE7 level requires 8+ years in pharma with 4+ years people/project management and 4+ years in manufacturing/quality; SE8 requires 12+ years with 6+ years people/project management and 4+ years in manufacturing/quality.
• Experience leading large cross-functional initiatives with broad organizational impact.
• Strong communication and influencing skills across diverse groups and complex orgs.
• Operational experience in device assembly and packaging; syringe visual inspection preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Assembly, Packaging, and Visual Inspection startup of the expansion.
• Onboard and lead site functions (production, maintenance, reliability, commissioning) and coordinate resources.
• Partner with capex project management to deliver the site expansion.
• Represent site perspective during design, qualification, and ramp-up phases for equipment.
• Coordinate production needs and transition Strategy for new tech within the site.
