Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Technology Consultant to serve as a strategic go-to expert and lab solutions delivery lead for RDT. You will lead cross-functional teams on high-impact, complex products, mentoring colleagues and aligning priorities with agile frameworks.

The role requires 8+ years in digital technology and product delivery in R&D, including 5+ years in life sciences, and a Bachelor's degree. Onsite in South San Francisco with a discretionary annual bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Digital Technology and Product Delivery experience in R&D.
• 5+ years in life sciences/pharma R&D or the assigned business function being supported.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proven track record leading extremely complex projects with enterprise-wide implications and anticipating changing business conditions.

Responsibilities

• Digital product delivery: Leads product development, design and deployment in the Lab digital asset and AI based automation space.
• Scope / Content Leadership: Leads cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact and/or complex products; shapes and influences strategy for complex products.
• Accountability/Problem Solving: Decides on topics with significant impact; solves unique problems and scales Agile frameworks across squads.
• Stakeholder Management: Engages with senior stakeholders and executives; communicates strategic information and solution options.
• Impact/Strategy: Determines best course of action in new capabilities; shapes product roadmaps and workforce strategies.
• Complexity/ Product Size: Leads extremely complex projects with enterprise-wide implications.
• Business/Technical ability: Maintains strong reputation for impact and collaboration; demonstrates deep domain knowledge.
