Job summary

CKE Restaurants seeks a Director, International Design & Construction to lead strategic restaurant formats and asset innovation for Carl's Jr. and Hardee's across international markets.

The role drives off-premises and omnichannel formats, builds a scalable Restaurant of the Future, and partners with franchisees, architects, and regulators to ensure fast, cost-efficient delivery while protecting brand equity.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of design experience in the restaurant industry.
• 6+ years leading multi-country development programs.
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate, Design, Business, or related field required.
• MBA or PMP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic roadmap for international restaurant formats and asset innovation.
• Lead the shift to off-premises/omnichannel formats and enhance unit economics.
• Build the Restaurant of the Future capability for international markets.
• Champion brand evolution across physical and digital guest experiences.
• Manage development pipelines for international sites and remodels.
• Oversee schedules, milestones, vendor coordination, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with franchisees, architects, and local consultants to meet timelines.
