Job summary

Molex offers a 12-week Summer 2027 internship in its Supply Chain Planning / Analytics track, based in Lisle, IL. You will collect and analyze historical sales data, collaborate with sales/marketing/operations, and support demand planning with hands-on use of Excel, Power BI, Snowflake, and Kinaxis.

This program provides exposure to multiple business areas and leadership networking, aiming to build a talent pipeline for future roles.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university.
• Available to work full-time throughout the 12-week Summer 2027 internship.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without visa transfer or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting and analyzing historical sales data to support accurate demand forecasting.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather market intelligence and demand inputs.
• Help update demand plans and track forecast accuracy.
• Work with supply planners to review planning strategy and inventory levels.
• Help identify potential constraints and recommend solutions to meet demand.
• Assist in reporting information for supply plans to align with demand forecasts and business goals.
• Use Excel, Power BI, Snowflake, and Kinaxis to analyze data and prepare reports.
• Monitor KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory health, and service levels.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.
• Support cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing planning efficiency and accuracy.
• Own a strategic project aligned with business initiatives in planning, strategy, and analytics.
• Engage in sessions introducing various business areas and participate in networking opportunities with leadership.
