Job summary

Interns will work across areas such as Direct Material Procurement, General Purchasing Services, and Supplier Risk Management, gaining hands-on experience with real projects in a global truck and automotive context.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Sophomore standing at time of application
• Strong communication and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Vendor Consolidation Strategy and Tail Spend Analysis
• Establish process for Supplier Capacity/Lead time documentation
• Assist with data mining information to formulate Category Strategies– i.e.: Liaison with the Engineering teams to get technical details for the strategy
• Assisting in CSA negotiation and execution
• Optimization of Aftermarket processes and part number rationalization
• Creation and maintenance of Procurement dashboards and systems
• Use AI to drive digital optimization within the organization
