Role Overview:

We are looking for a Global Project Manager to support the execution of projects for our Vision Care & Surgical Vision Distribution Centers and Customer Service Call Centers globally. In this role, you will lead projects contributing to our goals and ensuring execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Management: Manage cross-functional projects within Vision Global Deliver, accountable for the successful achievement of project goals.
  2. Team Collaboration: Work with matrix teams, demonstrating effective communication skills and supporting a cooperative environment.
  3. Partnership Development: Build strong working relationships with Vision Regional Directors, project managers, and cross-functional teams in supply chain and finance.
  4. Process Development: Help identify and implement improvement opportunities within existing and new processes.
  5. Risk Management: Support cross-functional teams in identifying potential risks and developing contingency plans.
  6. Project Planning: Develop optimized project plans, including strategies for capital, capacity, and risk management.
  7. Strategic Support: Assist in transitioning between strategic initiatives and tactical tasks, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
  8. Communication: Prepare monthly and quarterly project updates for the Vision & Supply Chain Leadership Team.
  9. Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned by management, contributing to overall team effectiveness.
Qualifications:

Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required; a master or advanced degree is preferred.

Required Skills:
  1. 6+ years of business experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  2. 3+ years of cumulative experience in a Supply Chain Function
  3. 2+ years of experience in project management.
  4. 2+ years of experience in successfully leading multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment required.
  5. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  6. Demonstrated matrix management, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
  7. Ability to build consensus and influence teams without direct authority.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
Preferred Skills:
  1. Familiarity with logistics and analytics.
  2. Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
  3. FPX and/or PMP certification is preferred.
Other Requirements:
  • May require some travel (up to 10%).
