Role Overview

We are looking for a Global Project Manager to support the execution of projects for our Vision Care & Surgical Vision Distribution Centers and Customer Service Call Centers globally. In this role, you will lead projects contributing to our goals and ensuring execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Manage cross-functional projects within Vision Global Deliver, accountable for the successful achievement of project goals.
• Team Collaboration: Work with matrix teams, demonstrating effective communication skills and supporting a cooperative environment.
• Partnership Development: Build strong working relationships with Vision Regional Directors, project managers, and cross-functional teams in supply chain and finance.
• Process Development: Help identify and implement improvement opportunities within existing and new processes.
• Risk Management: Support cross-functional teams in identifying potential risks and developing contingency plans.
• Project Planning: Develop optimized project plans, including strategies for capital, capacity, and risk management.
• Strategic Support: Assist in transitioning between strategic initiatives and tactical tasks, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
• Communication: Prepare monthly and quarterly project updates for the Vision & Supply Chain Leadership Team.
• Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned by management, contributing to overall team effectiveness.

Qualifications

Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required; a master or advanced degree is preferred.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of business experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• 3+ years of cumulative experience in a Supply Chain Function
• 2+ years of experience in project management.
• 2+ years of experience in successfully leading multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated matrix management, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build consensus and influence teams without direct authority.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with logistics and analytics.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred.
• FPX and/or PMP certification is preferred.

Other Requirements:

• May require some travel (up to 10%).
