Job summary

Redwire Defense Tech is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to lead international growth for UAS and advanced sensor solutions across Europe and the Middle East. You will build strategic relationships, develop pursuits, and secure major programs with NATO and allied ministries, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful program acquisition and transition.

The role requires a proven track record of large program execution, strong leadership, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of international business development or defense sales experience.
• Proven experience with NATO procurement agencies or European/Middle Eastern defense customers.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage sales channels.
• Track record of winning international defense programs.
• Expert knowledge of US export controls ITAR and FMS/DCS frameworks.
• Strong understanding of UAS platforms, sensors, and defense acquisition frameworks.
• Ability to travel 30%+; passport required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute international growth strategies focused on Europe, the Middle East, NATO, and allied nations.
• Shape and drive capture of major international defense programs with CRM accuracy and leadership updates.
• Cultivate senior relationships with NATO procurement offices and European/Middle Eastern defense customers.
• Lead initial program engagement for new international accounts before transition to PMO.
• Lead responses to international solicitations with cross-functional teams.
• Provide market intelligence on NATO modernization and procurement cycles.
• Coordinate international demonstrations and capability showcases with end users.
• Drive partnerships with international primes and technology partners.
