Job summary

Blackstone, the world’s largest alternative asset manager, seeks a leader to own and drive the firm’s global data strategy and governance program. You will design a hub-and-spoke operating model, define ownership and governance structures, and ensure data quality and lineage across regions.

You will partner with leadership to embed data governance into operations, oversee a network of data stewards, and influence executive decisions through standardized policies and controls.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or information strategy.
• At least 5 years in a global leadership role within financial services, asset management, or private equity.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders to drive adoption of enterprise data policies.
• Experience leading cross-functional and cross-regional teams in a matrixed global environment.

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and execute the firm’s global data strategy to leverage data as an asset for decisions.
• Design a global hub-and-spoke data operating model with central governance and data stewards.
• Establish data ownership structures with defined roles and governance councils.
• Lead enterprise-wide data management framework implementation across jurisdictions.
• Embed governance practices into business operations and decision-making processes.
