Job summary

Seaboard Overseas and Trading Group (SOTG) seeks a Data & Analytics Manager to lead a centralized, globally scoped data function. You will translate business strategy into data priorities, deliver reliable analytics, and build a network of Data Champions worldwide.

This role sits between senior leadership and a small but high‑impact team, blending strategic operation with hands‑on delivery, including governance, and AI readiness initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of data analytics experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership role within a data function.
• Strong working knowledge of BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
• Proficiency in SQL; comfort reviewing and guiding work in Python or R.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global data team.
• Translate business questions into analytical briefs and data requirements.
• Publish a global data health report and track impact.
• Define and enforce data standards and governance.
• Partner with leadership to develop and execute the data roadmap for AI initiatives.
