Job summary

Amcor is seeking a data-focused specialist to join our Global Data team. You will create and maintain data for over 25 plants, collaborate with customer service, graphics, planning, manufacturing, R&D and supply chain, and help ensure accuracy and timely delivery of information.

The role supports system deployments, enforces data standards, and works with cross-functional partners to improve end-to-end processes while learning and growing within Amcor's data governance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or some college preferred.
• 1 year of professional experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or customer service preferred.
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Detail oriented with good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Primary focus on data creation and maintenance to ensure accurate data for 25+ Amcor plants.
• Back-up for designated team members to prevent service disruption.
• Extract and interpret system information to support customer service, graphics, planning, manufacturing, R&D and supply chain functions.
• Support system deployment activities with deadlines and data accuracy.
• Participate in problem-solving to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain data standards and collaborate cross-functionally to improve end-to-end processes.
• Promote data governance and continuous improvement across all plants.
