Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Sustainability Manager to lead deployment of sustainability initiatives, metrics, and reporting. You will translate data into business insights to drive site performance, PCR and recycle-ready materials growth, and respond to customer sustainability requests.

You will align with leadership to define metrics, drive momentum, and ensure initiatives support Amcor's broader sustainability goals.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in engineering or business roles related to sustainability of manufactured products, preferably plastics.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills; proficient in Excel and large datasets to identify trends and translate data into insights.
Experience with reporting/visualization tools (Power BI or similar) to improve data accessibility and decision-making.
Comfort using generative AI tools to improve efficiency, accuracy and quality of work with sound judgment.
Knowledge of sustainable packaging, packaging circularity, recycling systems, and regulatory frameworks including EPR/FPR and PCR.

Responsibilities

Define, track and own key sustainable packaging metrics; manage monthly/quarterly reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sustainability plan and customer requests.
Improve standardized processes for customer sustainability requests and reporting.
Act as an internal SME for sustainability reporting and customer support; monitor trends and communicate results.
