Job summary

Amcor is seeking a data specialist to create and maintain data across over 25 plants. You will back up teammates and uphold data standards while supporting customer service, planning, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.

The role involves interpreting system information and contributing to data governance initiatives to meet KPIs. You will engage in problem-solving, assist with onboarding and transfers, and ensure real-time data accuracy across multiple Amcor systems.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to organize information clearly.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail oriented with careful data handling and documentation.
• Associate degree or some college preferred for entry-level data roles.
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems preferred for data maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Focus on data creation and maintenance for Amcor plants and partners.
• Back-up for designated team members and uphold data standards.
• Extract and interpret system information to support multiple functions.
• Support data accuracy in WebCenter, GEM, SAP, and other systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve escalated customer and plant issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects for data governance.
