Job summary

Expedia Group is seeking a Global Data Sharing Engineer to design and operate scalable data-sharing solutions that meet global regulatory requirements. You will partner with Legal, Product & Technology, and Regulatory Operations to implement data contracts, data models, and robust reporting pipelines.

You will lead AI-enabled workflows, ensure governance and security, and mentor junior engineers while delivering reliable, auditable outputs across geographically distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in infrastructure or data engineering with cloud-based systems.
• Experience leading technical projects across multiple systems.
• Expert SQL and data-modeling skills with complex joins and performance-aware design.
• Experience with production data pipelines and workflow automation.
• Experience with AI-assisted workflows and governance in production.
• Proficiency in at least one language (Python/Java/Kotlin/Scala/Bash/PowerShell).

Responsibilities

• Own cross-functional infrastructure and data-platform initiatives from discovery to release.
• Translate regulatory and operational needs into data contracts and specs.
• Build and operate data pipelines, models, APIs, and reporting infra.
• Prototype and productionize AI-enabled workflows with governance and oversight.
• Lead UAT and communicate with stakeholders across geographies.
