Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Legal Counsel - Ethics & Compliance, Data Privacy to join its Global Data Privacy team as a permanent, full-time Manager. The role combines strong legal and privacy expertise with business acumen and an interest in AI and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in global data privacy law and practice.
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
• Experience with major national data privacy laws and cross-border issues.
• Experience advising on privacy risk management, privacy reviews, privacy by design, incident handling, and regulatory inquiries.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating complex cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and practical privacy compliance guidance to global internal functions.
• Lead initiatives to strengthen and mature the global privacy program and governance framework.
• Drive improvements to privacy advisory processes for efficiency, consistency and scalability.
• Lead Privacy by Design reviews for projects, services and products on regional and global scales.
• Advise on privacy considerations for AI, analytics, automation and emerging technologies.
• Build and maintain relationships with Legal, business teams, Data Privacy and Information Security leads, and clients.
• Collaborate with regional stakeholders to embed privacy-by-design in business processes.
• Support global Data Privacy initiatives and cross-functional workstreams.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and translate them into guidance and training.
