You will champion best practices in data modeling, pipelines, and integration, and align technology strategy with business goals. The role requires strong leadership, innovative thinking, and deep expertise in SQL, Python, and PySpark across multi-region environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; relevant experience may substitute.
• 7+ years designing database solutions across on-premises and cloud regions.
• 5+ years linking to APIs and troubleshooting data connectivity.
• 3+ years managing people managers across multiple offices or regions.
• Advanced working knowledge of SQL, Python, and PySpark for data engineering and automation.
• Deep expertise in databases, ETL, data modeling, and warehousing.
• Executive-level communication and ability to present complex tech to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the Firm's global data engineering strategy, architecture, and roadmap.
• Lead, mentor, and empower global engineering teams.
• Champion hands-on technical excellence across Databricks, dimensional modeling, pipelines, orchestration, and integration.
• Build trusted dimensional models, curated datasets, and enterprise data products.
• Establish reusable engineering standards to improve scalability, reliability, and consistency.
• Optimize platform performance, resilience, and cost.
• Serve as technical authority for architecture, integration, and production challenges.
• Coordinate cross-regional teams to enable global delivery.
• Drive adoption of modern tools, standards, and engineering practices.
• Accelerate data onboarding from diverse internal and external sources.
