Job summary

Armada is hiring a Data Center Structural Engineer to own the structural thread across MDC deployments worldwide. You will identify vendors, assess seismic/wind/snow/soil risks, and build standardized structural designs that become repeatable SKUs across diverse jurisdictions.

You will oversee from design through fabrication, installation, and commissioning with global partners. You will work remotely with ~20–30% travel to project sites and fabricators, collaborating with product engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required with PE/SE license or international equivalent.
• 5–7 years hands-on experience in structural analysis and design of steel and reinforced concrete facilities.
• Strong knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI; ability to navigate NCC/Eurocode and other codes.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver in-house structural analysis for new Armada products/sites.
• Willingness to travel ~20–30% to global project sites and fabrication facilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and vet domestic/international structural engineering vendors and certifying engineers.
• Perform site due diligence assessing seismic, wind, snow, and soil conditions; map local codes and AHJ requirements.
• Develop and maintain template structural designs for MDC components to create repeatable SKUs.
• Conduct in‑house structural analysis and design for new Armada products and unique site conditions.
• Oversee fabrication, installation, and commissioning; review shop drawings and anchorage details.
• Create governance, documentation, and sign-off processes for site readiness and certification.
