Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Datacenter Operations Physical Security team seeks a Cluster Security Manager to lead data center security across multiple sites, developing strategy and executing security programs.

You will coordinate with business partners, manage risk, and drive cost optimization through process improvements and technology enhancements, while mentoring staff and overseeing contract security teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of physical security experience.
• 5+ years of security management experience.
• 5+ years of leadership role experience.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Build trust with data center business partners to execute a comprehensive security strategy.
• Plan, develop and implement security programs and emergency/crisis management, coordinating investigations.
• Maintain knowledge of industry security trends and update management on risk and threats.
• Perform continual risk analysis for data center sites focusing on crime, terrorism, and disasters.
• Provide leadership and best practices on security policy to on-site data center management.
• Identify vulnerabilities and design strategies to close gaps and seams.
• Lead AWS Data Center staff and contract security staff toward strategic security objectives.
• Support leadership in investigations of significant threats or asset loss.
• Develop and implement security standards for all contract site coordinators.
• Liaise with local, state, federal, and international law enforcement for Data Center locations.
• Travel 25% domestically and internationally.
