Qualifications

• 10+ years of physical security experience.
• 5+ years of security management experience.
• 5+ years of leadership role experience.
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Build trust and align with data center business partners to execute a comprehensive security strategy.
• Plan, develop and implement security programs such as Emergency Response, Physical Security and Incident Management, coordinating investigations with Global Intelligence and Investigative teams.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and updates to inform management on risk and threats to AWS employees and infrastructure.
• Perform ongoing risk analyses for data center sites, including crime, terrorism, workplace violence, and disaster threats.
• Provide leadership and best practices on security policy to on-site data center management.
• Identify vulnerabilities early and design strategies to close gaps and seams.
• Lead and guide AWS Data Center staff and contract security staff to achieve strategic security objectives.
• Support regional and global security leadership in investigations of significant threats or asset losses.
• Develop and implement security standards and procedures for contract site coordinators.
• Liaise with local, state, federal, and international law enforcement for Data Center locations.
• Travel about 25% domestically and internationally.
