Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a forward-thinking Cluster Security Manager to lead data center security across multiple sites. You will develop and enforce security programs, align with business partners, and drive cost-efficient improvements while balancing risk and operational needs.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in physical security, 5+ years in security management and leadership, and can communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of physical security experience.
• 5+ years of security management experience.
• 5+ years of leadership role experience.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Build trust with data center partners to execute a comprehensive security strategy.
• Plan and implement security programs such as Emergency Response, Physical Security, and Incident Management.
• Maintain knowledge of security trends and report risk to management.
• Perform continual risk analysis for data center sites including crime and disasters.
• Provide leadership and best practices on security policy to on-site management.
• Lead contract site security coordinators and coordinate with law enforcement as needed.
• Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
