Job summary

Apple is seeking a Network Engineer to provide 24/7 operational support for our Data Center network within the IS&T organization. You will maintain and upgrade devices across multi-vendor environments, ensuring reliability and performance for global services.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams and external partners, with a strong focus on operational hygiene, documentation, and automation to improve incident response and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in network troubleshooting.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of BGP, overlay technologies and security policy handling.
• Experience evaluating outages to business-critical infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 24/7 operational support across Apple’s global data center network.
• Plan, test, and deploy network maintenance and upgrades per standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for complex issues.
• Use automation to streamline workflows and improve troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and post-incident reviews.
