Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Center Field Engineering is seeking a Field Engineering Technical Program Manager to lead multi‑discipline programs across global data centers. You will drive availability solutions, coordinate engineering, operations and procurement, and communicate risks to leadership.

The role demands strong engineering judgment, program management in mission‑critical facilities, and the ability to align long‑term strategy with rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is required.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in mission critical facilities (data centers, power, HVAC) required.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Understand technical and business components of availability solutions and drive implementation plans between engineering, operations, procurement, legal, finance and other partner teams.
• Develop standards and processes for tracking, reporting, and closure of risks.
• Prepare narratives for executive leadership with recommendations on cost, timing, and strategic trade-offs.
• Capture and share best practices with other product and program managers in Data Center Engineering.
• Learn and understand the AWS data center lifecycle globally.
