Job summary

Google is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead data center projects across North America, coordinating design, construction, and capital improvements. You will oversee a team of PMs and engineers, managing schedules, budgets, and risk in a dynamic, multi-site environment with extensive cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires up to 50% travel (domestic and international) and a strong track record in mission-critical facilities, data centers, or related real estate development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of program or project management experience across multiple global regions.
• 5 years in a leadership role.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including leadership from vendors, trades, and commissioning agents.
• Execute a clear project delivery strategy and align milestones, workflows and critical paths.
• Oversee schedule and cost control activities with safety and quality initiatives.
• Lead design, construction, and capital project support for ongoing operations in a critical region.
• Develop and mentor teams of engineers and project managers; vendor development lead for contractors.
