Job summary

OneSix is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to lead client projects and global cross-functional teams, ensuring delivery on time and budget, within defined scope and cost. They are the day-to-day contact for clients and partner with the Technical Lead to guide the delivery team.

The role involves planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, mentoring PMs, and building strong client relationships to drive expansion opportunities. Must align with OneSix standards.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering software or technology implementation projects ranging from $500k to $1MM.
• Experience in a professional services environment (e.g., consulting firm, agency).
• Managing multiple engagements with 2-4+ FTEs across various fee structures and delivery models.
• Demonstrated ability to manage external and internal clients with senior stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with estimation and writing SOWs, Change Orders, etc.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain delivery roadmap based on client priorities, backlog, and future initiatives.
• Ensure client business goals are understood, success is defined, and expectations are set and met.
• Establish clear project parameters supporting internal and client team success.
• Develop and maintain all project schedules outlining activities, deliverables, tasks, sequences, work effort, and resources.
• Lead and oversee project execution, following processes and using tools on macro roadmaps and individual projects.
• Support the team in negotiating and managing project scope and obstacles to maintain momentum.
• Manage and mentor Project Managers to ensure delivery excellence across engagements.
• Forecast, track, and manage budgets, burn, and revenue recognition; monitor profit impacts.
• Ensure all deliverables meet OneSix quality standards and templates.
• Plan and manage all project communications with clarity and actionability.
• Identify, review, prioritize, mitigate risks and escalate as needed for project success.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve scope and budget challenges.
• Understand client needs and advocate for them throughout the project lifecycle.
• Foster a positive team environment and support growth and success of team members.
• Uphold integrity, manage team performance with leadership support, and build client trust.
