Job summary

PharmaEssentia USA seeks a Senior Director to lead Global Data & AI Enablement, building master data, governance, and AI capabilities for commercial success. You will partner with Commercial Strategy, Sales, Marketing, IT, and affiliates to ensure accurate data and measurable ROI.

You will shape data infrastructure, governance standards, and external partnerships, enabling AI-enabled insights and scalable data solutions across the U.S. and Japan in Year 1.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; technical degree preferred.
• 12+ years in data, analytics, or technical leadership in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare.
• Experience building or leading master data management, governance, and data infrastructure programs.
• Hands‑on proficiency in SQL, able to audit a pipeline and work with ML models.
• Experience designing and running controlled commercial experiments and defending results to leadership.
• Experience partnering with commercial functions to translate data infrastructure into activation‑ready capability.
• Experience owning external data or analytics vendor relationships and terms.

Responsibilities

• Own the measurement architecture linking commercial investment to revenue.
• Own patient-finding and patient-persistence analytics and translate results into resource allocation recommendations.
• Establish and maintain master data at the customer level across sources as the single source of truth.
• Establish data governance standards and apply them when onboarding new data sources/vendors.
• Add, integrate, and standardize new data sources and create new fields and metrics on demand.
• Apply agentic AI to support data automation and governance at scale.
• Transform data into alerts and actionable intelligence for field and digital platforms.
• Enable automated, dynamic target-list delivery for third-party digital partners via APIs.
