Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Global Logistics Lead for Dangerous Goods to own planning, execution, and continuous improvement of DG policies across air, ocean, and ground transport. You will work with internal teams, carriers, regulators, and partners to ensure safe and compliant operations supporting Starlink’s growth.

The role requires strong regulatory expertise, operational judgment, and the ability to translate complex requirements into scalable processes while coordinating with leadership to align

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of experience in compliance, audit, or risk management.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing air, ground, and ocean dangerous goods shipments.
• 3+ years of experience with U.S. and international DG regulations and import/export compliance.
• Current valid certifications: DOT, IATA, and IMDG.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve DG policies, procedures, and controls for air, ocean, and ground transportation.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on IATA, 49 CFR, IMDG, and related DG regulations.
• Conduct internal audits of processes and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Drive scalable solutions and metric-based continuous improvement that reduce risk and support growth.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulators, industry associations, and key partners.
• Partner with senior leadership to align policy, risk posture, and operational controls.
• Support new business opportunities and transportation models with regulatory guidance.
