Job summary

You will work with seasoned professionals to learn how genetics, management, technology, and market dynamics drive success worldwide. This temporary, full-time, hourly, non-exempt internship is based at our Plain City facility and reports to the Vice President of Technical Initiatives and Innovation.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate student in Animal Science, Dairy Science, or related field.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for the dairy industry and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Represent Select Sires’ mission and core values.
• Assist in developing and delivering field training.
• Learn genetic strategies and tools used by the company.
• Contribute training knowledge to the online platform for employees.
• Participate in on-farm training and learn herd management best practices.
• Understand and implement a dairy or beef herd monitoring system.
