Job summary

WME is seeking a Director of Cybersecurity to lead the program, set strategy, and own the organization’s risk posture on a global scale. You will build a security team, manage vendors and SLAs, and direct incident response and cyber resilience across our operations.

This role reports to the VP, IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity, with independent cyber-risk reporting. The position requires 12+ years in cybersecurity and leadership, with deep knowledge of NIST CSF 2.0, ISO 27001, and regulatory

Qualifications

• 12+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years in leadership roles, preferably global.
• Proven enterprise program ownership built on NIST CSF 2.0 or ISO 27001.
• Experience insourcing security functions from MSSP and leading hiring.
• Executive- and board-level risk reporting to audit committees or PE stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of SOX ITGC and global privacy regimes.

Responsibilities

• Set and own cybersecurity strategy, program roadmap, and global risk posture.
• Deliver executive- and board-level cyber-risk reporting.
• Manage security vendors, SLAs, and contractual obligations.
• Build and lead an internal security team, insourcing from MSSPs.
• Direct incident response and cyber resilience including BCP-DR.
• Establish governance, policy, and security awareness programs.
• Own the cybersecurity budget and headcount plan.
