Job summary

WME | William Morris Endeavor is seeking a Director of Cybersecurity to lead the program, set strategy, own risk posture, and report at executive levels. The role builds and leads the internal security team, manages vendors and SLAs, and directs incident response and cyber resilience across a global footprint.

You will report to the VP, IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity and drive governance, policy, budget, and headcount while ensuring compliance with NIST CSF 2.0 and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in cybersecurity with leadership experience.
• Experience with a enterprise security program built on governance, policy, and control frameworks.
• Board-level risk reporting experience and ability to translate risk into business terms.

Responsibilities

• Set cybersecurity strategy, program roadmap, and risk posture across a global footprint.
• Deliver executive- and board-level cyber-risk reporting.
• Manage security vendors and contracts; define and enforce SLAs and hold partners accountable.
• Build and lead the internal security team and insource critical security functions.
• Direct incident response and cyber resilience, including business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Establish cybersecurity governance, policy, and security-awareness programs.
• Own the cybersecurity budget and headcount plan.
