Banner Engineering, a leading industrial automation company in MN, is seeking a Director of Cybersecurity to lead the global cybersecurity program. You’ll define governance, risk management, security operations, and incident response, translating business needs into scalable controls.

You will partner with IT/OT leaders and business teams, oversee vendor relations, and mentor cybersecurity professionals to drive continuous improvement in a rapidly growing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field.
• 7+ years in progressive cybersecurity with leadership.
• Experience leading enterprise cybersecurity programs.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls.
• Experience with incident response, vulnerability mgmt, IAM.
• Hybrid on-prem and cloud security experience.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management.
• Ability to translate risk into security roadmaps.

• Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and governance.
• Direct security operations and incident response.
• Manage vulnerability-management program and tracking.
• Lead risk assessments for enterprise systems and vendors.
• Embed security requirements in projects with leaders.
• Oversee security vendor relationships and MSPs.
• Develop cybersecurity metrics and status reports.
• Coach and develop cybersecurity personnel.
