Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a visionary Vice President, Cyber Defense to lead the enterprise strategy and capabilities that protect our people, products, customers, and operations worldwide.

This executive will oversee Cyber Defense Center operations, Insider Threat investigations, Threat Intelligence, and Detection Engineering, with a focus on scaling global teams and leveraging AI to improve detection and response.

Qualifications

• Executive leadership of large, global cybersecurity or cyber defense organizations.
• Deep expertise in incident response, threat hunting, and threat intelligence.
• Experience building Cyber Defense Centers and intelligence-led defense.
• Ability to translate cyber risk into business impact for executives and boards.
• Budget management and enterprise transformation experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise cyber defense strategy and roadmap.
• Partner with CISO and executives to align cyber defense with business priorities.
• Lead global teams across Cyber Defense Center operations, insider threat, intelligence, and detection.
• Advance AI-enabled security operations and automation.
• Represent HPE as a cybersecurity leader with partners and government agencies.
