The role oversees Cyber Defense Center operations, insider threat, threat intelligence, and detection engineering, with a focus on scalable teams and measurable business outcomes.

Travel approximately 25% (less if based in Houston, TX).

Qualifications

• Executive-level experience leading large-scale, global cybersecurity orgs.
• Deep expertise in incident response, threat hunting, threat intelligence, detection engineering, insider threat, investigations and offensive security.
• Proven success building and scaling Cyber Defense Centers and intelligence-led defense capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute HPE’s enterprise cyber defense strategy, operating model, roadmap, and investment priorities.
• Lead global teams across Cyber Defense Center operations, insider threat, threat intelligence, detection engineering and automation.
• Advance detection fidelity, response speed, investigation quality, and enterprise resilience.
• Incorporate generative AI and agentic AI to scale cyber defense operations.
• Build and retain a high-performing global organization with strong governance.
