Job summary

Secretlab currently seeks a Customs Operations Specialist to join our Logistics team in overseeing import and export activities for customers across 60+ countries. You will coordinate with brokers, carriers, and freight forwarders to ensure compliant, timely shipments and maintain robust records.

• 3+ years in import/export operations, logistics, or customs brokerage.
• Working knowledge of customs requirements and the import entry process.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, ERP, and logistics systems.
• Experience with US and Canadian import/customs processes.
• Customs broker license or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day import/export activity with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure on-time, compliant movement of goods.
• Compile, review and transmit shipment data and documentation to customs brokers for timely entry filings.
• Review customs entry documents for completeness and escalate discrepancies as needed.
• Track inbound and outbound shipments and monitor clearance status, maintaining logs.
• Serve as daily contact for brokers and forwarders on documentation and shipment status queries.
• Maintain accurate, well-organized records per retention requirements.
• Monitor regulatory bulletins and flag changes to stakeholders.
• Identify recurring errors or process gaps and report them.
