Expeditors in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Customs Brokerage to identify customer transportation needs and ensure timely, compliant movement of freight and information.

You will coordinate customs clearance, process documentation, book shipments, monitor status, and communicate with customers, providers, and authorities.

A customer-focused mindset, strong attention to detail, and proactive problem solving are essential to meet KPIs and support uninterrupted supply chains.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with import/export documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in customs brokerage or global logistics operations is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, prepare, and process transportation, customs, and regulatory docs.
• Prepare and submit customs entries ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate transportation orders, freight bookings, and shipment scheduling.
• Monitor shipment status and clearances; communicate updates to customers.
• Enter and maintain shipment data in operating systems; dispatch freight timely.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and government regulations.
• Meet KPIs and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
