Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Customs Entry Specialist in the United States. The role requires experience in Customs Brokerage/Import/Export and data entry, with strong customer service skills.

You will support import operations for clients and vendors, handling documentation and compliance tasks. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in entry writing and 1–2 years in CHB or Imports, plus a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of Entry Writing experience.
• 1 to 2 years in CHB or Imports.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Accurate and rapid data entry with multitasking ability.
• Proven customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Strong organizational and written communication skills.
• Professional image and client-facing poise.

Responsibilities

• Perform import operations tasks for clients and vendors.
• Classify data entries, prepare and review documentation.
• Audit documents and verify country of origin, IOR, terms of sale and value.
• Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies with customers and origins.
• Assist in daily operation tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Occasional weekend shifts or holiday coverage as needed.
