Job summary

EBARA Technologies Incorporated in California seeks an experienced Customs Entry Writer to support international logistics and ensure import/export activities meet U.S. customs requirements.

You will generate shipping documents for domestic and international orders and coordinate between manufacturers, internal teams, and end users. The role requires HTS knowledge, accurate documentation, and the ability to manage high workloads while maintaining compliance and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant field preferred.
• Active U.S. Customs Broker License preferred.
• 2-5 years of customs/import/export experience preferred.
• Strong HTS knowledge and ability to classify products accurately.
• Familiar with regulatory compliance and trade requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure import/export activities comply with U.S. customs and international trade regulations.
• Generate shipping documents for domestic and international orders.
• Coordinate shipments between manufacturers, internal departments, and end users.
• Self-manage high workload with urgency and accuracy.
• Serve as subject matter expert for tariff classifications, country of origin, and customs compliance.
• Work with logistics, purchasing, finance, and brokers to clear shipments and support audits.
• Provide guidance on HTS classifications, trade rules, and changing requirements.
• Train employees involved in international shipping and customs activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment and follow EBARA safety policies.
