Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a logistics professional to handle entry releases, classification, and related duties. You will liaise with carriers, clients, and customs to secure timely releases and ensure regulatory compliance across CBP and other agencies.

The role involves preparing bills of lading, coordinating freight forwarding, and conducting audits of entry files. Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Two years’ experience in release, classification or related fields.
• Ability to analyze documents and make sound decisions.
• Knowledge of tariff schedules and billing records.
• Licensed to operate a vehicle where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Process releases and ensure timely compliance with CBP and OGA.
• Analyze documentation for admissibility and release.
• Communicate with carriers, clients, customs to facilitate release.
• Prepare bills of lading and coordinate freight forwarding.
• Perform audits of entry files and correct errors.
• Handle high-volume, time-sensitive work.
