Vanderbilt Minerals is seeking a Customer Service Representative - Global to provide exceptional service to internal and external customers. You will handle inquiries, process orders, coordinate shipments, and resolve issues with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organization, and attention to detail, with experience in ERP systems like IFS or SAP. You will support sales, onboarding new customers, and maintain accurate records in our Norwalk, CT office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service or office roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with IFS or SAP, or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of domestic and international logistics or shipping is a plus.
• Ability to work with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Process domestic and export orders and quotes in the ERP system.
• Communicate order status, product availability, and lead times to customers.
• Coordinate bookings and shipments with freight forwarders.
• Expedite delayed orders with Logistics and Warehouse teams.
• Support new customer onboarding and maintain records.
• Manage assigned accounts and build customer relationships.
• Resolve concerns and coordinate with internal departments.
• Support Sales with forecasts and repeat orders.
• Monitor customer trends and inform management.
• Adhere to company policies and service standards.
