Job summary

Gridiron Air is seeking a Manager, Crew Scheduling Operations, Planning, and Logistics to lead the 24/7 crew scheduling team for its worldwide Boeing 777 charter operation. You will ensure coverage with legal, qualified, and rested crewmembers in compliance with 14 CFR Part 117, 14 CFR 121.467, and company manuals.

The role requires overseeing crew planning, forecasting staffing needs, and partnering with OCC, Flight Operations, Inflight, Training, Charter Sales, and Finance to optimize

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years in crew scheduling, planning, or airline operations control at a Part 121 carrier.
• Experience supervising or managing a team of crew schedulers or operations staff.
• Strong knowledge of Part 117, Part 121 crew qualification, and recordkeeping.
• Experience with crew management systems and data analysis in Excel.
• Ability to operate under time pressure during irregular operations.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily crew scheduling operations 24/7 for the charter operation.
• Lead crew recovery during irregular operations, coordinating with OCC and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory rest, duty, and fatigue requirements.
• Coordinate crew qualifications, medicals, visas, and route requirements.
• Plan and publish crew pairings and schedules to balance cost and reliability.
• Forecast staffing needs and collaborate with Sales and Network teams on charters.
• Oversee training scheduling to avoid gaps in coverage.
• Manage department budget for scheduling, hotel, and travel.
• Provide after-hours leadership during emergencies.
