Job summary

Global Crossing Airlines, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Crew Planner to proactively manage 48-hour and beyond crew outlook, ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal crew utilization for 24/7 operations.

The role involves positioning crewmembers to bases, coordinating with Crew Scheduling, OCC, and travel teams, and reviewing schedules to minimize disruptions. Candidates should have at least 1 year in scheduling or related roles, strong English communication, and proficiency with Microsoft

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in scheduling, operations, logistics, dispatch, or time-critical coordination; aviation experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn crew scheduling platforms such as RAIDO or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a 48-hour and beyond crew outlook, identifying staffing requirements and coverage gaps.
• Position crewmembers to bases based on projected needs, qualifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor future crew coverage and identify shortages or excess staffing early to adjust.
• Coordinate plans with Crew Scheduling, OCC, Crew Travel and other departments to ensure availability.
• Review upcoming schedules to optimize crew utilization and minimize disruptions.
• Anticipate regulatory, training and availability issues impacting coverage in the 48-hour window.
• Develop contingency plans for expected absences, training events, or positioning requirements.
• Communicate staffing concerns and recommended actions to management and stakeholders.
