Job summary

TransUnion is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage complex credentialing and recredentialing cases for applicants in the United States and international markets. The role involves authenticating end users, assessing permissible use of products, and conducting due diligence using approved tools and resources.

You will collaborate with Sales and business units, mentor teammates, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience working directly with clients, handling escalations, and managing credentialing or recredentialing requirements.
• Experience conducting due diligence examinations or investigations involving complex business cases and applicants from multiple geographic regions.
• Knowledge of federal, state, city, municipal, and international regulatory requirements used to verify and authenticate applicant businesses.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex credentialing and recredentialing cases, including applicants in the United States and international markets.
• Authenticate end users and confirm permissible purpose and authorized use of TransUnion products and services.
• Evaluate intended use of requests, including international packages and geographic areas outside the United States.
• Conduct due diligence examinations using approved third-party tools and research methods.
• Respond to escalated client inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Mentor and share credentialing best practices with team members and partners.
• Identify recurring process or communication issues and propose improvements.
• Partner with Sales, business units, and customers to support credentialing decisions.
