Job summary

AMD is seeking a CPU Performance Team Lead to drive end-to-end performance analysis and optimization for our next-generation CPU cores. You will manage a senior, geographically distributed team and collaborate with Core Architecture and RTL to shape the roadmap and deliver measurable improvements.

You excel at leadership, communication, and data-driven decision making, guiding multi-functional teams through complex projects within schedule and budget while advancing AMD's competitive performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading CPU performance analysis teams.
• Proficiency in CPU performance modeling, analysis and validation.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product and validation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of modern CPU architectures (x86-64, Armv8/Armv9, or RISC-V).

Responsibilities

• End-to-end ownership of CPU Core performance analysis and optimization.
• Partner with Core Architecture and RTL teams to deliver high-performance CPU cores.
• Manage performance modeling and analysis across the CPU Core roadmap.
• Represent the Performance Team and report progress towards program goals.
• Communicate program, organization, and company updates to the team.
