Job summary

Urban Decay, a L’Oréal brand, seeks a Manager of Product Development to lead the complexion line from concept to first production, partnering with leadership and external suppliers to meet quality, timelines, and cost targets.

You will drive formula ideas, coordinate with R&I, development, marketing, and packaging teams, and ensure accurate communication of product benefits across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years cosmetic product development experience.
• Entrepreneurial and collaborative energy; think outside the box.
• Strong understanding of key beauty markets (US, EU, Asia).
• Deep knowledge of skincare ingredients and skin concerns of 40+ consumer.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build product ideas based on business needs and consumer insights.
• Monitor launch deadlines and flag risks to timing and claims.
• Scout formulas and pack solutions from trade shows and suppliers.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with marketing to position concepts and claims.
• Own the briefing process for new launches to labs and suppliers.
• Evaluate formulas and provide actionable feedback for products.
