Job summary

Product Society is seeking a Product Development Manager in Los Angeles to lead product development projects from concept through launch. You will own client-facing accounts, manage timelines and budgets, coordinate samples and documentation, and work with packaging vendors to keep projects on track.

You will collaborate across R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, and Finance, while thinking ahead to prevent delays and drive forward each development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of product development or project management in cosmetics or consumer goods.
• Proven ability to manage client-facing projects end to end within timelines and budgets.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication with vendors and clients.
• Proficiency with Office/Workspace tools and PM software (Monday.com, Asana).

Responsibilities

• Own assigned client accounts and PD projects end to end, managing timelines and budgets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, leading meetings and prep materials.
• Oversee samples, documentation, and shipment for internal review and client evaluation.
• Partner with packaging vendors to source components and manage lead times.
• Collaborate across R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, and Finance to align milestones.
• Think ahead to anticipate risks and resolve or escalate issues early.
